Spray Tan
Pre-care
Remove unwanted hair 24-48 hours before tan (wax, shave, laser etc)
Exfoliate 24 hours prior, this allows the dead skin cells to be removed and new ones to build back up as this is how tan gains its colour
Shower before your tan without soaps or wash your hair on the day of your tan to avoid any discolouration of your tan
Avoid wearing deodorant, moisturiser or perfume on the day to avoid discolouration
Bring loose dark clothing to wear after your tan and jandals
You will need around 2 hours after tan before you rinse off
Post Care
Rinse off at the time given which is usually 2 hours after your tan
Rinse off by allowing water to run over your body gently, with no soaps, body washes or hair washing until the water runs clear
Pat dry with towel (do not rub this will cause patches)
Please note your tan will develop between 12-24 hours
Avoid touching your body while your spray tan is drying as this can leave fingerprints on your body
Avoid activities that will make you sweat. Sweating creates streaks in the tan
Avoid chlorinated swimming pools that can react with the tanning solution and create an uneven fade in the tan
Moisturising the skin daily after 24 hours will help make the tan last longer and fade more evenly
Avoid the use of lotions or creams which contain AHA’s or Glycolic acid as they tend to exfoliate the skin and reduce the tan length
Use a neutralizing ph body wash
Wait 12-24 hours before wearing perfume, makeup and deodorants
